you can do it 2 ways before the salam or after the salam
If he makes the prostration before the salam he makes the salam right after completing the tashahud. If he brings the prostration after the salam It is then obligatory to make the final tashahud and then the salam. zad al mustaqni.

its not clear what they are trying to say.
can you confirm two things to me?
- if sahw is done before taslim, i say tashahud, do one salam (or two?)and prostrate twice, then i recite durood and dua and offer taslim?
- if sahw is done after taslim then you just do two sajdah of sahw and then taslim again?

this is very confusing
