Exactly, because Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jaylaani said that there was never a Wali who was upon an Aqeedah different to Imam Ahmad and there never will be!

Correct! But in my humble research Ulama of Deoband have taken the Qadri Tassawuff but I have not seen emphasis on aspects of Athari Aqeedah in writings or talks.

I might be wrong but in my humble view Athari Aqeedah is held but not debated with, the more a person debates with it the more they will have to indulge in "Kalam".

Sheikh Abdul Haq Muhaddith Dehlawi (RA) and others are prime examples who clearly held Athari Aqeedah but didn't make a "scene about it" if you know what I mean.
