We don't need to make up groups like the Illuminati or blame Freemasons. It's not some kind of hidden fact that the U.S./UK/etc. are corporatocracies who do what they do for money, power, and corporate interests. It's not hidden, it's just that most people either don't think about it or don't care. These governments don't have some super secret hidden agenda either, they're after money and power by any means necessary, and they don't do much to hide it.
