Some years ago I was gluing together a model aeroplane, because I was into models in those days. After a couple of hours the glue fumes made me quite sick. I don't understand how anyone could get addicted to that, it just gives me a headache.

Maybe it's just me. I use a fountain pen because ballpoint ink fumes make me sick after writing a few pages. I also can't stand the smell of certain types of attar.
