I found the following link in a Salafi site talking about the errors of Martin Lings' biography of the Prophet (Salla Allahu Alayhi Wa Sallam):

I would like to ask the members in here who have more knowledge about whether the criticisms presented are valid or whether there are problems in what is being mentioned.
