Will get someone to pass on the message insha Allah, but if you could just give an outline as to why or which scholars have warned against him- don't need the details.

To cut a long story short it is best that Maulana Shoaib Desai Saheb (HA) contacts Shaykh (Hazrat) Maulana Yusuf Motala Saheb (HA) and takes his advice. There are numerous Darul-ulooms in Pakistan who have issued fatwa against Akram Awan and Shaykh (Maulana) Yusuf Ludhywani (RA) wrote against his Shaykh (Maulana) AllahYar Khan (RA).

Akram Awan's deviousness is well known in Pakistan so if further information is needed it can be acquired from "Jamia tur Rasheed (Karachi)" this Fatwa is 15 years old and not in print otherwise I would have scanned and given it to you.

There have also been discussions on the Yahoo Ulama forum which I don't have access to as I am not an Alim.
