What are some good books written by scholars from the Shafii school? I am in the process of picking a madhad (I reverted last year and am now comfortable with it) and am very interested in this school.

As the brother mentioned above, first check out which Madhab is dominant in your region, also check if Shafi'i mosques and imams are common or not. Its better to follow the Madhab followed by the scholars of your locality, so you can get the better guidance. All four Madhabs are valid. So no worries.
