Just looked through the Taleemul Haq and it says "No Nafl salat to be performed between Asr and Maghrib except the Qadhaa and Janazah salat"

Look on page where the namaz chart is if you have one handy.

Can be seen online here:

http://www.inter-islam.org/Actions/P...l#Namaaz Chart

Not trying to find fault in your post brother as im not very knowlegable myself but genuinely one to find out answer to this question as i have asked before and been told it is permissible but every so often i meet people who say NO namaz can be performed between Asr and Maghrib.

This is what is stated in Bahishti Zewar

3. There is no stipulated time for qada salaat. Whenever one gets the opportunity, one should make wudu and offer salaat. However, one should take the makruh times of salaat into consideration.

But having checked with a mufti the makruh times mentioned here are at the time of sunset, zawwal and sunrise.

So you are right qadha can be read after asr and after fajr but not at the time when the sun is setting or rising or at zawwal.

Jazakullah for bringing it to my attention
