Call their bluff.

It is not a criminal matter but a civil matter.

You did not write a bad check as the company accepted it knowing you would pay it later.

You followed their rules and you paid them 6 times what they loaned you.

The other checks were not run through their bank so tey can't prove you received the money.

Tell them to do their worst and let a court handle it.

Like that you can ask for copies of everything they have including the contract and if it is true that it is not legal in your state to do this, they willnot want to go to court.

Just see what they say.

I think 600% profit is a prety good return and I can't see a court awarding any more above that.

Never be intimidated by a loud speaker. He was yelling because he had nothing to say.
