Salaams, I'm new to the forums this is my first post and I'm really looking forward to becoming a part of the community. I'm wondering if anyone on this site can help me come up with ideas on good places to live throughout the world preferably like a muslim village, or just some place that is somewhat secluded but close to a city. I'm doing this research because I'm looking to finish my undergraduate studies and insha'Allah some graduate studies and then moving out of the states to somewhere else that would allow me to focus on the deen without as many distractions. I was born and raised in the US and specifically a city in New Jersey literally across the river from NYC. I'm currently doing my undergraduate studies a large research university and I'm really considering moving out of the US to some place more peaceful without all the distractions and political nonsense that goes on in this country. I have really no clue where to begin or what countries to look at but I'm looking for some ideas. Maybe somewhere with a fairly strong economy with job prospects for an engineer or a consultant, a stable government, and a sizeable muslim presence.
