- What times of the day are dreams valid?

-What does it mean to see a sand coloured snake, a bit bigger than usual size. Upon seeing, it does not induce flight or fight. A normal controllable fear reaction.

-And the snake sitting on the slope of the mountain, with people. People are not scared of the snake.

JazakAllah khair.

- dreams are potentially "valid" any time one is asleep - however the best dreams usually come between tahajjud and fajr

- A qualified Sheikh should be sought for such a dream, the reason being, it could have two potential interpretations, one good and one bad. If its a good dream, according to ibn sireen, snakes represent ones enemies, and if one sees a snake in a dream, and is not frightened, then that person is protected from the enemies. White snakes (close to sand colored) represent good fortune and a pious individual. If its a bad dream, a snake can represent either greed, or the punishment of the grave, and that fact that people are not afraid of this snake could mean they do not fear Allah or have any concern for the after life
