Don't listen to these people.
Most orientalists litterary have given up on refuting the Qur'an.
Most of their objections are based on speculation, only that can calm their
mind and approve their way of life.

Do a bit of research yourself before talking to people like that.
Keep also in mind that the Qur'an has been sent down for the whole of mankind.
