It is obvious that Hambaley school was mainly dominant in parts of hijaj. As such it is only understanble why the work of Imam Ahmed bin Hamble is taught.
However i wonder the idea of editing classical works has to be questioned specially if it is under the directive of the ruler and by selected monolitich group of scholars
I wonder if the Kuffar Pakistani, or Mushrik Hindu rulers control the teachings of the Hanafi school in Pakistan and India.

and the answer to your question is no they aren't..... if anything books related to ruling besides other than that which was sent by Allah- type books would be edited, however since those books include the words of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab, it would be hard for them to do so.
