Hiding oneself means one who knows already they are and only then the word hiding comes.

As far as sister sodoku's post, I see it fits those who are really walis but they have humility of not exposing. I am talking about cases like mine who are not and find it hard when I read that wilayat is easy. Khair I will leave it here.

My reply was to the OP, not in relation to your query. Here are my two cents. Every believer is basically a Wali. One goes out of the fold of friendship by committing sins but sincere repentance restores the friendship.
