That is common knowledge for those on the path alhamdulillah. I just thought that quoting from the books of those with much more experience than us would make for a more reliable discussion.

I actually asked this question to some of the mashaikh on the path and this is the answer they gave. They gave certain circumstances of of how to tell when your sins have been removed and how to know that other things such as Jinni/Muakahils etc were messing around.

what path do you follow sufistic?
