I'm interested to know the understanding of the hadith about the ummah splitting into 73 sects and only one being saved, does this mean that brelviz, sufi's, wahabi's, salafi's and hanbali's with wrong aqeedah will be in the hell fire? cos they are deviated sects? the hadith says all the sects are in the hell fire except for what me and my companions are upon.

Hanbalis are sunnis. hanbalis, malikis, hanafis and shafi'is arent different sects.

Also, ibn Othaymeen

classed the brewalis as Mushrikeen. just thought id chuck that in
