The the English version of the Urdu Malfuzat is available on the net. Please use google to find it.

I have a copy of the Urdu Malfuzat myself, but I could not find it in it yet. It's probably not in the book. But I'm still very sure that Maulana Ilyas

said this and next time I'll meet some Akabir I'll ask them about it, although I acknowledge that I can't impose you to believe in it without a source. Sorry...

What you posted is totally off topic, so don't turn the thread into something that it is not meant to be. No one is trying to hide the effects of Tasawwuf in all our Akabir's lives, no matter in which line of Deeni work they're engaged. Even the biography I linked to in the OP mentions that Maulana Sa'eed Ahmed Khan sahab

was a disciple of Shaykh al-Hadith Maulana Muhammad Zakariya sahib
