Don't get me wrong. I am ecstatic about her story. may Allah help her on the straight path......I just don't understand the marriage.....

Yes it is, but "possible" sin is nothing when compared to kufr. I say possible because she may have already divorced or already staying away from him. Allahu A'lam. We should make Husn-u Zann in these kind of situations.

And may Allah bless you with the most pious Muslim brother as a husband who will bring about the Barakah and Khair to your Dunya and Akhirah. Amin.
