If famous or 'Ulamaa from other parts of the world came to your community, what lectures or courses would you suggest or wish to learn/hear? For example, Mufti 'Abdur Rahman, Mufti [Abu Abdillah] Muhammad Ibn Adam, Mufti Ebrahim Desai, Shaykh al-Ninowy and Shaykh Muhammad al-Ya'qoubi [rahimahumullah] ?

My suggestions would be:
Lectures on - Status of 'Ulamaa, etiquettes of student, How to increase Imaan and protect Imaan, etc,.
Weekend courses on - Mukhtasar al-Qudooree, Selected Ahaadeeth from Sihaah Sittah, 'Why does my du'aa not get accepted?, etc,

Your suggestions? And also how to book events and such and invite Shuyookh from abroad for few days here? Do you have to pay their flight bill ? Duration of these lectures?

About the bold, usually it's the normal thing that you arrange everything, from flight to food to living to transport, as well as the venue for the lectures etc, plus advertising. For the Shuyookh you mentioned above, I'd have to arrange it with them from at least half a year before, especially when your booking them for something major like Ramadhaan. Mufti Ebrahim Desai's Ramadhaan plans are usually booked about 6-7 months before time. Mostly what you need to to is get your masjid to organize it with other organizations and have the venues pre set. It'd be very hard for a single person to do by oneself, unless the person is loaded and has his own masjid.

I don't think Mukhtasar al Qudoori would be good for a weekend course unless you focus on something very small like kitabul buyoo'. I would say, that you'd pick the Shaykh speciality and request them to teach/lecture on that. For eg Mufti Ebrahim would be in his element with Finance. or Mufti Abdur Rahman could focus on his book Fiqhul Imaam or Fiqhul Akbar. etc
