I know what you mean. (These few drop outs get always too much attention. Look at all the sons and grandsons who are doing great work of Deen and all the other DU Karachi graduates that go unnoticed, but doing great work.) But your question makes no sense, because those men that apostated are by definition not even called Sahabah.

I understand that the question is awkwardly stated. Basically (and I'm pretty sure you already got this point), I meant that there were people who converted to Islam during the life of Rasulullah

, and even met him, who later apostatized.
