As for vinegar, then it is sunnah to have it. The best is white grape vinegar. But commercially you mostly find chemical vinegar (acetic acid) and not the organic ones. Nothing wrong with them.

moulana sahab is it permissible to eat wine vinegar? I've heard alot of people saying cooking with red wine vinegar is halal because cooking it makes the buzz go away, but alot of people also say it's haram. which is the right view?
