Have you seen the traditions mentioned in the following article among the old Pathans ?

The Pathans, who are also called Pashtuns, were said to wear cloaks decorated with a symbol that closely resembled the lamps lit by Jews at Hanukkah. The traveler also reported that they donned prayer shawls similar to those of their Jewish counterparts in the West, insisted that men grow side curls, and lit votive candles on Friday evenings, the beginning of the Jewish Sabbath.

Some anthropologists have also found Pathan families that circumcise sons on the eighth day after their birth, in keeping with Jewish custom.

---------------------------------

Think about this bro- if the pathans were originally a tribe from Bani Israel, and then converted to Islam en masse, then why would they keep Jewish traditions? You think the scholars wouldn't have said something? You think the Amir and the judges wouldn't have had something to say about people imitating the kuffar? As far as I am aware, the land of the pathans must have once been ruled by Sharia which gets rid of these practices from amongst the Muslims and its highly unlikely they would have reverted to Jewish customs instead of Buddhist or Hindu customs, if they were to do 'the culture thing' at all
