Salaam dear brothers and sisters, i came across a very interesting hadeeth in one of Shayk g.f haddad's articles at livingislam.org which reads:

Jabir said, Allah be well-pleased with him: I heard the Messenger of Allah say, upon him blessings and peace: “I entered Paradise and saw that most of its dwellers were women.”

Narrated by al-Bayhaqi in al-Ba`th wal-Nushur and Ibn `Asakir in Tarikh Dimashq.

Does anyone now the status [ authenticity ] of this hadeeth. Also it would be great if some could give me the exact reference for this hadeeth [ hadith nr. , volume nr. , page nr etc. if possible ]. I would be very thankfull if someone could give me the exact reference [ and if possible the hadith status ] .
