Salam sister,

I am not sure , but seems like may be similar to myself long time ago before I get married and still young, teenager girl. I learn 6 points when I first went out with jamaat at the age of 11+. At the time, it's easy to learn and memorize. As it was weekly taaklim in my mum house and we always had muzakarah of 6 points, I am always try to sit far on the left hand side of the the person who in charge of muzakarah, with the hope when the time come for me to speak, we run out of time. Usually if I have to do it, when my mother was there, I was always look at her to help me out. Although I know everything about 6 points but when the time come for me to speak it, I gone blank. I was young and talented..he..he.. at the time.

it wasn't actually memory problem. It's just a nervous system, relying on mother to help, less confident and I had to say, when we not married yet, we cannot really see the 6 points much in reality. other words, the reality of 6 points don't hit us yet. This is why it say, when we marriage it's like we complete half of our imaan. Gradually when I go in jamaat, than without my mum. Nobody to help me, I had to push myself to concentrate. My confident slowly slowly build up. And by talking about 6 point in muzakarah in the program again and again, Alhamdulillah I be able to talk , my memory not actually bad after all.

When our name has been put in the program to talk about 6 point, than we have to although a little bit. So, I build my confident from there as well. And the amazing about talking although not be able to act in it properly, is like the advertisement.

If we look at the advertisement, we never actually memorize the face of mc D logo or KFC logo. But, if someone told us that draw a KFC man logo or I kill you, I bet we can draw, not exactly same, but, at least we will notice similarity somewhere somehow. We never learn how to draw it, we never practise it, we never actually want to memorize it, but because we see it again and again, although a bit, it will come to our mind. Similar with advertisement in tv, nursery rhyme and things like that. things that we say and see again and again. This is using senses Allah give to us to gain something.

This is what happen in muzakarah of 6 points when we go in tabligh or when we learn 6 point. it's harder to get it and to talk about it, if we don't learn to memorize the basic 6 points and believ me , it's more harder to actually act upon it. Talking and say it again and again will help especially the first point, kalimah Iman. Only by talking again and again about the greatness of Allah, than the greatness of Allah will come into our mind and heart. We cannot act upon it by only knowing it and not talking about it. It's simply yet difficult if we don't talk about it. And it's more difficult to deliver it into action.

I had spend years and years listening and talking about 6 points, probably nearly 15 years, before I'm not fully confident with it, but Alhamdulillah understand the meaning of it and manage to at last bring the only greatness in this world, the Greatness of Allah. Because it's easy to learn but not easy to act.But, by keeping quiet because we had less confident and hesitate to talk about it, will just make it difficult to naturally act upon it. Because iman is not an action that we can do, iman is something that has to come from inside, mind and heart. And this can be done by feeding our soul with it. By talking about it again and again.

My advise, what you been facing seems to me normal for some people. Of course not everybody face the same situation. Some have confident in it although they don't have the confident in the action. But, it's help to bring the theory into action.

So, just take the basic of 6 points. The meaning, the benefit, and how we can bring this 6 points into our daily life. Don't have to talk too much about it. Just get the point across. Always remember we talk about 6 points to teach ourself most and foremost in simple way for us ourself to understand. Than when the time come, we will talk about 6 points and time is never enough. Insya Allah.
