I know one info from the Pious. Mawlana Abul Hasan Nadwi (R), once in a program in Pakistan said that he (spiritually) smelt blood in the soil of Pakistan and he said that he sees that the soil of Pakistan demands blood. Of course, not to mention, Shaykh Nadwi (R) meant this positively, i.e. for some reason, more Qurbani would taken by people in Pakistan. May Allah Taala bless them and us! Allah Taala knows the best.
