How does one know that it was Rasulullah (saw) in his/her dream?

Sometimes its beykaif sometimes clear sometimes some sign sometimes some aspect of the noble personality salallahu alayhi wa sallam. Fortunate are those people who get to see, however, one must not confuse this for qubuliyat. Seeing Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam is no proof of ones acceptance, mushrikeen used to see Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam in person. Adherence to sunnah is the most important thing.

Ho kar fana Huzoor mein apney ko deykna,
Kuch is tarah bhi hoti hai ziyar e Rasool ki. (salallahu alayhi wa sallam)
