walaikum assalam, actual salafi means the people who follow the salfe-salihins of first three generations. saudi salafi means the people who blindly follow saudi 21st century scholars and do not try to know the salfe-salihins of first three generation from any other source. they consider albani better than imam bukhari (rah), muslim (rah) and then then then ..........And they consider bin baz and his cohorts better than imam abu hanifa (rah), malik (rah) shafie (rah) ahmad bin hambal (rah) and then then then. hope this small answer will be sufficient to the humble heart........
