Shaykh Ahmed al masaraawi and shaykh Ayman al suwayydh discuss the issue of maqaamat in Quran

The Above halaqa caused a lot of fitnah amongst the Quraa and many Qurra have started to make counter arguments and programs after this tv show was aired. after which shaykh ayaman and shaykh masaraawi went and repeated this at several other islamic tv channels.

The shuyuukh in this tv show expressed their opinion that the maqamaat are to be avoided and that they are not from the sciences of Quran or islam.

shaykh masaraawi testified that shaykh hosary and shaykh abdel basit may allah make them of the people who enter the highest jannah etc did not study the the maqamaat but that allah blessed with such voices.and as a student of shaykh abdelbasit and shaykh husari he made that very clear.

I am posting this because i had a bit of debate with someone on this issue on sunniforum and i preferred it for him if he watched this program and at least saw the view of the two most knowledgeable Quran and Qiraat

and i hope that this lecture clears up why so many now stand against this issue of the study of maqamaat.
