I have read about protecting my eyes and tried that , Although I have not been able make it a habit ( sometimes you do look at what your not supposed to even if there is no evil thought inside ) I have noticed when you do so your salah becomes much more pleasing , you feel peaceful and relaxing . You feel love for Allah more. Maybe more could be shared by the respected brothers on this. What are the practices. Also from the highlighted four things to pay attention I find one very difficult. Protecting your thoughts . How does one do that ? All kinds of strange , apparently needless thoughts come to you. I even get scared when negative thoughts come to me and just a seconds bad thought can make you depressed and influence your energy and motivation. How do you stop having negative / nonsensical thoughts which seems to come out of nowhere.
