A few months ago while on the net i dont know how but i stumbled upon Maulana Yunus Patel's website. I downloaded and read all his books and then listened to some of his bayans which were on tasawwuf. His books and bayans which were in english and urdu and in the end the way he made duas, i had never been so impacted. I immediately had this deep deep desire to meet him. So on this forum i searched about him and found quite a number of threads on him. So you can imagine my haal when i read that he had passed away exactly 1 year before i found him. I cant express my emotions. I used to listen to maulana tariq jameel's bayaans earlier. But when i heard hazrat's bayan and duas i was immediately drawn towards him.

I am bayat with a very pious allahwallah here in my homeplace and i respect him a lot and i am faithful to my shaikh but my heart yearns to meet hazrat. Some people here on SF are so blessed to have met hazrat.

SubhanAllaah, I can relate to the feeling.
It was really one of my saddest days when I learned he had passed away, even though I had only listened to few of his lectures online.

I was down for a few days, and regret was overpowering me that I never got to meet him in my lifetime.
I could not explain why i felt such strongly about him passing away, as I knew little of him.

But it's like as you said, there was something special about his bayans and duas.

Wallaahu A'lam.
