What was the real purpose of starting the thread, is it about making assumptions on a speech by Maulana sahab. It is impossible to say what he meant exactly, all you can do is keep on making assumptions. But one thing was very clear he asked all those who levelled allegation on Dr.Zakir Naik should give proofs. And that is very sensible of him to say. This goes in accordance to our religious teachings. The irony is many of the people who have contributed in this thread are not following what Maulana sahab said. That is if you are levelling an allegation then give proof. If you go through the whole thread you will notice the contributers discussing the allegation and not the proof.

@Zahed73 still waiting for the proofs of your allegations you levelled against Dr.Zakir Naik.

Sorry for the late reply I don't go around threads deliberately looking for trouble. And I do have a life you know.

My comment was for the YT video of Zakir Naik .... If you read the comments carefully it was my own reaction to the video posted , the sentiment is shared by many when it comes to Zakir Naiks opinion on such matters . Whats there to prove from the Quran and Hadith ? You can place a counter argument of my opinion.

I saw the YT video . It reminded me of how clever the Devil is . I don't mean Zakir Naik . I mean shytan , the one who guises his play toys into saying that appeal to the masses and call for Unity while the very message you give puts seeds of division and Fitnah . The salafi are the ones who are destroying the Sunnah and religion of the beloved Rasul Allah swt .
Shytan uses his play things with much tact. Note # 1 : Whom did I accuse of anything ? Zakir Naik ? not if you think he is the Shytan

# 2 : My view on Salafism .... if you disagree state why .
# 3 : Shytan has many playthings , we are all potentially somewhat influenced by them.

To elaborate how I feel about the YT video you posted .... the message I got is Zakir Naik saying go ahead and make Islam into whatever you want .... Hey lets have a flavor of the day just like in Ice cream shops or you can even come up with concoctions of your own ... And don't forget its important that you cry and whine about the unity of the Ummah while you make the Sunnah and religion of the Rasul Allah

completely unrecognizable ...

You've seen something else in the video you can enlighten us please.
