Dear Muslim Brother ( My post Reason is just That ALLAH will be pleased with us and to refresh our lesson of abstaining from sins) to fix innerself one has to Make A Kamil Shiekh whom his heart matches and take islah of all the Heart Sins (pride, False Thinking, Anger ,etc) as it is also Farz to leave the innerself sins. This is outer Sin ,which should be avoided as it is also Necessary to leave the Sin of Shaving the beard or trimming it less than one fist in length,it is not possible that one's innerself is good and he will not having Sharaii Beard, it is the sign that his innerself is not good as his Face not matching the Beloved Nabi ,as to Follow the outerself Sunnats which is In the order of our beloved is Also Necessary.if his innerself is good he will definetely follow the Outer Sunnats also. we have to see what Our BELOVED NABI and His True Servants ( u can see my Shiekh Arif Billah Hazrat Maulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Sahab Damat Barkatuhum and his Big Khulafas Maulana Yunus patel in S.A, Maulana Ayyub Surti & Maulana Asif in UK, Maulana Tamim In US, Hazrat Feroz Memon shb db , Mufti Amjad sahab and Maulana Abdul HAMEED azadvielle S.A, etc etc) and Many Other Respected Mashaikh and Respectable Ulama and thier True followers, whoes Innerself and outer self is Good.
The inner dimensions of Islaah is so vast, that it will take you ages to overcome that.. The outer apparent sunans are easier to do, hence one should not be devoid of that which is easy simply because one is in persuit of that which is difficult. EVEN if you are struggling with your inner struggle, be firm on your outer sunnahs... Inshallah one will be rewarded with it. It is a deception of Shaytaan that since I am still struggling with my akhlaq, I do not need to give much importance to my appearance. Those aspects which become the shi'ar of deen should be hastened towards, even if one is yet void of the spirituality of it. According to Hanafi Madhab atleast, beard is wajib, i.e obligatory. We wouldnt be lineant on our Witr salah simply because our Islah is not made on the inside. Every aspect of deen carries its importance and should be adhered to in their level of importance. Just like the inner is the spirit of deen, so are these outer sunnahs..They ALSO are full of ruhaaniyat.. We ought not be void of either..
