I keep struggling with aqeedah issues. It has started to affect my salah and good actions as i dont feel like doing them. I keep coming across salaf quotes which support the salafi aqeedah. Then i hear how ashari's are deviant and i start to lose hope. At the same time i read how great scholars like nawawi and ibn hajar were ashari's and how salafis are incorrect.

I have no idea what to do? How do i work out whats correct?

Do not worry brother - you shall be fine.
For some time avoid Salafis. Later on you shall loose all attraction for their company, IA.
Matter of Aqeedah is serious and a single innocuous looking matter might introduce enough venom into your thoughts to send you into a tizzy.
And then Satan the cursed is always on the lookout to put us in trouble.
Our Baser Self is at its miserable best in such times.
If believers have left this world with Iman in spite of above then this can only said to be a blessing from Allah (SWT).
And that is where we should pin pour hopes - after all who can better guard our Iman than Him?
