I wish to read a good and concise Hanafi fiqh manual. Im torn between these five: 1) Al-Hidayah 2) Nur al-Idah 3) Ascent to Felicity 4) Bahishti Zewar 5) al-Mukhtasar al-Quduri I was originally leaning towards reading #4, since it seems pretty basic, and many members have referred to it on numerous occasions. I read a bit of it online, and it seems like the easiest of the lot. I understand that #2 and #3 were both written by the same author, so whats the difference between them? Which is better? Also, I've heard that #1 is the best Hanafi fiqh manual ever written. How advanced is it? Should a layman like me read it? If any brothers or sisters have read any of the books listed above, please let me know if you'd recommend them to me.
