I second the Ascent to Felicity by White Thread Press. It's straight forward, well written and doesn't get into proofs. Al-Hidaya of Turath Publishing is more detailed, much thicker and has proofs, it's more of a reference source I'd say for a regular person. I cannot comment on the other books as I haven't not used or read them to any significant extent.
