...I don't get them. It's basically just standard behaviour among English people in the pub. I'm led to believe it's mainly an American thing, which I find even more confusing. Apart from on here (and that tends to just be a general sense of humour failure), all of the Americans I know are the same. What am I missing?
Making fun of eachother is a bloke thing. I imagine that works pretty similar, worldwide.
Turning it into a television show and dumbing it down however, is an American thing.

Close enough, right?
