"Obama has shunned our best allies"

Homey asked if I planned to use opinions. Generally, no. In this case? Maybe. It is my opinion that the UK, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Japan and possibly Germany are our most consistent allies. So ...

Did Obama snub the UK? This guy doesn't seem to think so.

Did Obama snub Canada? Australia? Eh, is it snubbing to invite their PMs to an exclusive luau in Hawaii?

What about Mexico? Don't think so. He threw a state dinner for their president. Boehner, on the other hand ... "The snub marks the third consecutive Obama-thrown State Dinner that Boehner will skip, including receptions for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Mexican President Felipe Calderon."

Japan? Ahhh, maybe.

And we gave Angela Merkel, Germany's PM the Medal of Freedom at her own state dinner.

Obama seems to pretty much suck at ally snub-making.
Edeevee,

I'm old school and I consider being called honey a term of endearment, at least it was that way with my many vacations in the south. Also, I have a hunch the ally they were talking about is Israel. UK also felt snubbed when Obama returned the bust of Churchill.
