I'm old school and I consider being called honey a term of endearment, at least it was that way with my many vacations in the south. Also, I have a hunch the ally they were talking about is Israel. UK also felt snubbed when Obama returned the bust of Churchill.

After reviewing what I posted I made the egregious error of not throughly reading a referenced link before posting. I should have known better since it was the Huffington Post, an unofficial apologist for the President. I think the link to the Daily Mail better describes the snubbing of our friend and ally, the Brits.
