"Obama’s environmental policy is anti-jobs during a time of very high unemployment"

Okay, you might have me on this. Obama's environmental policy is clearly anti-future gulf oil spill mop up jobs. As well as anti-how many people would we have to employ to figure out how to restore the safety of our water table after frakking or pipelining over aquifers-jobs, or new healthcare workers for all the folks with pulmonary diseases due to air pollutants - jobs. He's also apparently anti - arsenic, beryllium, chromium, lead, and mercury clean up after coal ash slurry breach -jobs.

So what if we destroy the planet - a job's a job!
Looks like this one is mostly opinion based. If he was so concerned about destroying the planet why did he pump in two billions dollars into a Brazilian oil company so that they may do oil exploration. Also, the Cubans has authorized oil exploration 60 miles of the coast of Florida and with the ability to slant drill they surely will tap into any oil pockets that rightfully belong to the United States. The opposition to the Keystone project is ideology driven to appease his environmental base, come next year no matter who is elected president, the Keystone project will be approved. It should also be noted that an alternative method to transport crude oil is by railroad. Guess who owns Burlington Northern Santa Fe LLC. His good friend, Warren Buffett, an Obama supporter. A coincidence, maybe, but it looks suspicious. Furthermore, there is already an estimated 50,000 miles of crude oil pipeline and a vast underground network of more than 2 million miles of energy pipeline already traversing the United States.
