I'll give folks to you another thing to chew on too,...most synth examples are 44.1 still even today. Therefore until you make your own,....and whether or not your recording or mixing at something greater than that,.....it's not gonna sound much better. Therefore fine @ CD rates are sounded by trance,hiphop,....and anything synth based. But,....and this can be a large one.....acoustic devices seem greater with analog recording( yes you WILL FIND methods to use analog w/o hiss o-r retention). Or,...higher electronic rates,....sample,bit depth,etc.... It's nuance,harmonics,....and atmosphere that is affected with lower electronic prices. That's 3 things that I hear for,....and judge by. But I play,....so I dont consider myself average person hit using a radio....
