Default What does Quran mean by the term 'Ahlul Bayt'?
Hello, I'm... welll.... Not really a islamic however. But I intend on getting one soon. But before I really transform, I would like to get all of the facts directly and sort every thing out since, to tell the truth, Islam looks really perplexing if you ask me at this time. Therefore going back couple of months I've been doing my research, you realize, studying, learning and all. From the friend of mine, I understand only a little about sunni/shia material. At this time I'm learning sunni books and I intend to examine the shia books also to determine what I what to become ultimately. I suppose I don't should be considered a sunni or perhaps a shia so long as I have confidence in unity of Allah and His Prophet Quran and Muhammad, right? But nonetheless for the benefit of understanding in addition to my own pleasure, I'm likely to read extensively on both sects of Islam. I'm also learning Quran Exegesis. and while learning Surah Ahzab, I ran across it's passage # 33 'Verily, Allah has decreed to cleanse you, O' Ahlul Bayt (individuals of the home ), and sanctify you in an ideal way' At still another place, it had been written: "Say (O Mohammad, unto humanity ): I actually do not question of you any reward of this; but love for my near whosoever and kins; makes good, We give more to him of good therein..." (42:23 ) In my opinion, as Muslims the majority of you need to have read the entire Quran using its fundamental meanings. Are you able to shed some light on 'Ahlul Bayt' (the people of the house) in regards to what Quran really indicates by people of the house and near kins?
