It's really fascinating how Germany have gotten from 0 to 4% of all electricity generated in just 20-25 years. And it's growing exponentially. Just 5 years ago it was 1%! Subsidies have probably played a large part in this. It must have seemed crazy in the start of the 90s to do this, but now it's actually really getting somewhere!
