I'm planning to submit my application to med school in a few days inshallah. I'm working on my personal statement. Here's the prompt:

I'm really not sure what to write. I don't have any special reasons for wanting to got to medical school, but I don't want to just say "I want to help people", even though that's true and I love the feeling I get when I'm able to help someone and make them feel secure. I just happen to think medicine is the best way for me to contribute to society. I'm planning to write a little bit about a physician who has inspired me, but I would like to add more. I want to have a letter that will stand out.

Anyone here who's gone through this process and can offer some tips? I'm applying in the US if that makes a difference.
