How can you know that a given thing didn't happen? All you can know is that this "loop" you and your friends are part of was not involved... and you have only their word for that... Not that I believe that the US administration (or the Israelis or anyone else) would orchestrate such a thing... the risks of getting caught would be far too high, nobody would be that stupid.
