I think everybody should do as they please.

Me personally, I like meat.

Yes the way how animals at slaughter houses are treated is bad but there is also meat that is from animals that had a resonably good life not in these concrete houses of death that could walk around eat grasses and is slaughtered in a different way but this meat is alot more expensive.

It's all done to make more money at the cost of the animals and you all know it's the choise of the most of us to buy the cheaper products also because of the scepsis towards the manufacturors asking yourself if the product is really biological correct or just another way to make more money just as they inject chicken fillets with water so they weigh more cause they can have a certain percentage of water in them.

I think not eating meat out of protest is a wrong thing, in my opinion it would be better to support the side of the industry that is treating the animals good and there is a part that does this but their product just cost alot more.

But then this is just my opinion.
