Years ago...I used to live in Ensenada, BC. I wasn't a "foreigner" then, I was a "gringo". I was also a good deal skinnier.

Is "chilango" still a bad, bad word if you are from Ciudad de Mexico? In Baja California, all evil in in the world is caused by the chilangos first, gringos second.

No, chilango is no longer a bad word, if it ever was, I would even consider it flattery, after all it means "not a peasant".
