I remember back in the early 70's when the feminist movement was just starting up. The women at my college were upset that the guys would call them chicks.

Well, this is not even the 70's. I know a lot of women get upset being called 'chicks' or 'birds' (in England). I don't care... not every woman has a sense of humor
