I use Firefox for about 95% of my browsing (the other 5% are those pages that pretty much *require* IE to function properly), so I'll take a minor issue with those who say it's super buggy. Mildly buggy, yes...but not super buggy. But then, you're talking to a guy who likes to tinker with alternate browsers (Opera, et al).
But anyway.
Let Mcafee install it's Netscape integration. The core engine for Firefox is designed to handle those stubs, so it should work fine for you in Firefox. I emphasize *should* here!
Depending on which computer I'm on, I use either Norton or ZoneAlarm's antivirus suite, both of which work fine with Firefox. So there's an option.
