why, oh why are we humans always compared to these little creatures when we are so magnificent and highly intellectual? seriously though. i know that most of our DNA structure is quite indentical to it and maybe some of the organs too, but we're still more superior to them. aren't we?

We'd like to think we're "superior" to "mere animals." But most of us are still under the whims of our animalistic nature, such as the drive to reproduce. Almost all people (even in the "most civilized" countries like the US) try to rationalize this drive with thoughts like: "I want my surname to live on." "I want a little version of me." "My parents want grandchildren." and so on. Not only do I find the "need" to produce children animalistic, but selfish as well.
