The only few ways that you can solve this is to go face to face with your cousin. Talk to him, find out why he is acting like that towards you. If he says that you are a hassle to him, just try to be nice and tell him that you will find another way to practice and not trouble him anymore. Sometimes being nice will make a person feel bad for treating others badly.

Since you did mentioned that making certain decissions might cause problems with the family ties. Have you ever considered that maybe he was forced to give you a ride? I can't be sure, but his attitude does look like so. Because if he have the choice, he would rather not giving you a ride at all.

If everything is not working, talking to your parents and also his parents is a good option.
